Join the It’s Alive! team

Our festival is growing, and so is our team!

Do you love cinema, thrills, and unforgettable stories? Join us as a volunteer at our third edition, taking place in Sofia, Plovdiv and Varna from October 31 to November 15, 2025!

This year’s festival celebrates genre cinema at its finest, with a focus on ecological horror, and all things horrifying, strange and spectacular on the big screen. As a volunteer, you’ll be at the heart of the action—meeting filmmakers, supporting screenings, assisting with festival events, and helping create a truly chilling atmosphere for audiences. Or if you have a more specific experience that you can bring to the table, such as marketing, advertising, social media, photography etc., we’d gladly make use of your talents :)

Why volunteer?

  • Be part of the very first genre film festival in Bulgaria

  • Gain hands-on experience in event and film festival organization

  • Network with filmmakers, artists, and fellow film lovers

  • Enjoy behind-the-scenes access and an unforgettable cultural experience

Who can join?

If you’re passionate about cinema, eager to help, and excited about horror and genre films, we want you on our team! No previous experience is required—just enthusiasm, reliability, and a love for the weird and wonderful.

👉 Fill in our form below and let us know what you like to do, what are you good at, and how do you think you can contribute to the team!
